Overview:

The FRENZEL SPX72  Stereo Hi-Fi Preamp   was designed as a stereo preamp platform for all your audio gear. It is the same preamp we use in our SS-84 and SS-4772 stereo amplifiers. Used in front of a solid-state power amp, it will give your the warm vintage sound that only tubes can.   If you love the vintage high fidelity tube sound....you will love this preamp. It comes standard with  many unique features including a separate volume, tone stack, and presence controls for each channel which allows you to fine tune the sound just the way you like it. A four position selector switch provides easy access to your Phono 1 (Magnetic MM or MC RIAA Cartridge Output), Phono2 (Line Level Output), CD player, Entertainment Center or any other Line Level auxiliary device.  All inputs designed to give you precise control of your tone preferences and produce a stereo sound like you have never heard before.  The output circuit includes a separate powered sub-woofer output.
